XylemMat® Playground Surfacing Mulch
XylemMat® is a playground surface covering that is manufactured and processed exclusively by Xylem, Ltd. to meet the most recent ADA Standard guidelines. XylemMat® has been certified by an independent lab and meets or exceeds the ASTM testing requirements when it is used as recommended by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission for playground surfaces.
XylemMat® has been tested and approved for WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY AND SURFACE STABILITY (ASTM F1951-09b), IMPACT ATTENUATION (ASTM F1292-09), SIEVE ANALYSIS (ASTM F2075-10) and HAZARDOUS METALS (ASTM F2075-10).
XylemMat® meets or exceeds ASTM testing requirements when it is installed as recommended by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission for Playground Surfaces. Architects, Insurance Companies, Parks and Schools recognize XylemMat® as a product that minimizes hazards on the playground and increases accessibility.
The average size of the playground wood chip is not in excess of 3" in length and 1/4-1/2" in thickness. XylemMat® is 95% free of bark, twigs and leaves.
There are no chemical treatments, additives, waste woods, or recycled pallets used in order to decrease the possibility of contamination and risk of poor surface stability.
A certificate of insurance with a liability limit of not less that $2,000,000 can be provided for coverage for product liability.

All bulk loads are shipped on "SELF UNLOADING" semi trailers.
